| Bio: | BoDeeWan – The Unauthorized Autobiography (And by Gawd, I’m gonna sue my ass off if I post this shit!) Someday when I’m famous, (or infamous) just remember that the first small cracks in the facade of my apparent sanity appeared here. Bio or evidence for a Competency Hearing, you decide. This is a story about a 16 yr old girl who lived happily ever after … it just took her 32 yrs to do it. Hard to condense a lifetime into a few sentences … especially mine. Let’s start with occupation: 15 years in the field of psychiatry/substance abuse counseling, (left it after one too many suicide calls at 2 am … needed a change). Have now worked in the field of safety administration. Personal stuff: raised a child, (my niece), Never married, (had an offer back in the 70’s but passed because marriage seemed a bit to much like being owned by some man. Best advise to young women? Stop looking for Mr. Right and become Ms' Right. Did anyone else feel like dates were just fucked up job interviews), Feminist, (As if you didn't know already), Buddhist/Taoist, (experimented with Christianity and Wicca but eventually returned to my roots). A totally obnoxious skeptic, self styled scholar, artist, and yes … I do have tattoo, thank you for asking. A rose … for Axl, (note to self - never get another tattoo for a guy who is a Bipolar Rock Singer. Sure it seemed right at the time, but trust me ... not the brightest decision I ever made). For a brief time in the 70’s I was a Dance Instructor and through my friends discovered the Gay male culture which led to my lifelong fascination with Slash! Basically been there, seen it, done it at this point in my life. Try to never set limits on myself and to reflect some of my unique personal life experiences in my writing. Are you still reading this shit, okay ... had some very dark times until someone precious taught me a lot about being in the “here and now” and taking responsibilty for your own happiness. Oh Yeah, and I also learned that getting older is not a disease, although society would have you believe different. Best thing about being 48yrs old? You no longer have to give a fuck what people think. The worst part? Feeling a wee bit like a pedophile when you lust over pictures of Brandon Routh and Ewan McGregor. Now? Well, I dance a lot, laugh out loud when I am by myself, and try my best to tweak the status quo every day ... does that count for something? I finally love my life and its about Freaking time ...
